climate control screen kicked the bucket today, has digital lines on it and doesnt show the normal symbols and numbers at all... just blank with a few lines running through it.

has anyone had this happen? is there a way to fix it or do i need a new climate control unit?
the only ones i can find on ebay dont have the 3rd defrost button i think its for the windshield defroster option.

any ideas appreciated.

 

There is a company that can rebuild or replace the LCD (or whatever the technology is) on the unit, I read about it on some other forum.

Maybe check with a local company that works on LCD panels and they might be able to put you in the right direction. Good luck
