Code P0455 and stuttering on acceleration.
Hello all;
I am having a P0455 code and ocassional stuttering when accelerating the car. Both things happened simulataneously. I know what a P0455 means, usually a gas cap fixes it, but my gas cap is new, and this has to be an actual vac leak based on the symptoms I am having.
Can anyone direct me on where to start looking for the leak? I can't smell any gas fumes or anything, but it's got to be a vacuum line that's somehow related to the fuel system.
Any help greatly appreciated.

I am not sure if the acceleration problem and the code are related. The 0455 code is a leak in the evaporation system. Possibly a bad purge valve or a cracked hose. The evaporation system is designed to vent the gas fumes to a charcoal canister that then purges it to the intake manifold. I would look for a bad hose down stream of the canister which would also contribute to a vacuum leak possibly causing the acceleration problem.

Attached is the readouts for your current codes. They are probably related to the leak you have in the evap system. Try to correct it as soon as possible. Continued operation at enriched fuel levels will eventually throw the codes for catalytic converter damage.
Check the hoses from the purge valve to the engine. Also, check the connections to the MAF sensor and make sure they are clean and tight. Check the hose between the MAF and the throttle body for cracks, especially underneath side of the hose.
