Compatibility Question - Radio
I have to replace the radio panel above the actual radio and below the aircon unit - my display panel/unit is not illuminating at night. It is much cheaper to buy this panel which sits on-top of the radio from the old type cassette version rather than the CD model. My question gentlemen is ;
Is the panel compatible to both ?

I replaced my radio unit. My 2002 had the cassette but I found a replacement with a CD on evil bay and it bolted straight in.
I did have to activate the CDC button to get my ACM to work, but my local Jag guy did it for free.
I removed the CD changer in the boot and sold the old radio and the changer on evil bay and pretty much broke even.

Hi
and thanks for your info. What I was wanting to do is to only change the panel between the radio and aircon units. Mine has no illumination and at night it is not possible to see what it is set to or the time clock. I already have the CD radio unit, it works fine. So all I was wondering is does this actually work.
Anyway I much appreciate your response, I do not seem to get many on the forum.
regards
Ray
