Default computer message: Average Fuel

My car: X-Type 2001 Sport 2.5 V6, AWD, car is from USA

I know how to display information about Average Fuel from computer, but I don't like the way it is displayed / presented, e.g.: "5 KM/L".

I would prefer to see such information: "20 L / 100 KM" - is it possible? If so, what should I do?

Thanks for your advise.

Peter

I just press the button to convert it to MPG, easier to figure out then.

Yeah, but I'm not asking how to conver KM/L into MPG because I know where is the buttom named "ML/km". When I press this buttom I can see data presented, e.g.: "8 MPG". If I press it once again, I can see e.g.: "5 KM/L".

I know that in US you use miles and gallons and in Europe we use kilometers and litres.

My friends in Europe have this data presented in a different way - they do not see "5 KM/L" but they see "20 L/100 KM" - and this is what I would like to have in my car. Does anyone know how to do it?

Try changing the display language to UK English and not US English.

I changed the display language to UK English, but it didn't change the way of presenting the information about Ave Fuel. Still I can see: "x KM/L", not "x L / 100 KM"

I also changed the language to French, but still it is not what I've been looking for.

This may be a "Rolling Stones" feature.

As in: "You can't always get what you want....."

how can I change language?
To do this you have to press the right buttom "ml/km" all the time and then turn the car key to position "II" (don't start the engine). Then the default language will appear and then you can change languages pressing the same buttom "ml/km". To accept and set up the language you like, you have to press buttom "A/B".

I hope my english and manual is understandable

But how can I solve my problem?
