Default Cooling system compacity

I am about to change out my antifreeze because of the leak on my thermostat housing seal. One question arises. How many liters of jaguar antifreeze i need to have correct 50/50 mixture. So if anyone can give me the answer greatly appreciated.

Juan, the refill capacity of the system is 8.25 liters. So, if you buy 4 liters of coolant, you will be fine. The slight variation from a perfect 50/50 mix isn't that big of a deal. Worst case, you buy 5 liters of coolant and when you need to add any, you add in the straight coolant vice adding in water.

if you are in an area that goes below freezing, i suggest a 60:40 mix not 50:50..

where did you get the 50:50 number? could not have been from the owners manual, because that has the capacity in it, and that was the question you were really asking.

50/50 mix is good down to -34F.

Distilled water is way cheaper than antifreeze.

Why would you suggest 60/40?

From the back of the BMW coolant bottle.
normal use 50:50
extreme 60:40 for maximum protection.
