Default couple x-type issues

Sup folks, i have a couple of issues with my 03 x-type that i wanted to run by you guys before getting ripped off at the dealership. I was trying to lower my driver window and saw that it was non-responsive. The switch had no pressure on it and it was just flopping up and down, just wanted to know if there is a method of opening the panel to fix it. Also the side skirt of my car is about to fall off, my friend stood on it like an idiot and now i can see on the inside the screws are stripped off. To be honest im not even too sure whats holding it up but i was told epoxy glue would do the trick. I am currently saving money to move to nyc where i'm not going to do too much driving so i dont want to spend too much on repairs, if you guys could just give me your input on the best method to fix these issues would be much appreciated.
Thank you, Larry

take it all the way off( the skirt) lightly sand the matching underbody, buy a can of close to your color RUSTOLEUM gloss spray paint, coat the under side let it dry(don't get over spray on the rocker, get some galvanized sheet metal TECH SCREWS either self tapping or regular, along side each existing old mount drill the appropriate size hole through both the skirt and the under panel,by each wheel use similar screws, (crank the front wheels for more room)you might need to remove rear tire.I did this to mine three years ago and it's still good.Mines black so it was easy to match color. Screw the hell out of it and you should be good to go,you can touch the screw head w/ paint so they don't rust.
