cross referencing parts
You can /can't do w/o dealerships . Sometimes you may wanna visit your dealerships .The reason behind that can be different too other than fixing a problem with your car . I better not tell the rest of the story lol
srdann, odds are, you are going to find that the Lincoln LS regulator will work from the same year car as yours. The two share a lot of parts between them. Just be ready to refuse the part before you pay for it. So, you will probably have to remove the regulator, take it in to the parts store, then see if the two are identical. Most stores when it comes to electric parts will not refund your money once you walk out the door.
Taking your advice...ordered part from O'reillys with the stipulation that I'll bring mine in and compare before I buy. They agreed with no problem. BTW, the regulator with motor for Lincoln is $85...At Jaguar, without the motor it's $300. And the Dorman website shows that their part# is good for either car. Thanks to all and to this forum...great site!
