Default Differential fluid change

I am going to change the transmission fluid, differential fluid and transfer case fluid. I can't seem to find a link on the differential fluid, anyone have a link?

Most appreciative!

Chris

This one is sort of funny. Not the most adept d.I.y. guy I've seen, lol. When I did mine with the JEG's pump it was easier because of the smaller more flexible adapter hose included. Fluid color was about as bad compared to the new stuff put back in (1.5 liters).

It was a bit funny but it was informative enough. I gathered about 1 qt of 80W-90 gear oil and a pump is needed. It's amazing to me Jaguar didn't include fluid changes at mileage maintenance intervals.

Thanks Dell

Just a typo on my part.

This is what I am going to use:

* Amsoil Multi Vehicle Synthetic ATF – (9.3 quarts) (Jaguar X-type/Auto transmission)

*Amsoil Gear oil 75W-140 (1 quart) (Jaguar X-type/ Transfer case)

*Amsoil Severe Gear Oil 75W-90 gear oil (1 quart-bottle) (Jaguar X-type/differential)

I know after you corrected me. (That was from my other post)

Should be:

* Amsoil Multi Vehicle Synthetic ATF – (9.3 quarts) (Jaguar X-type/Auto transmission)

*Amsoil Gear oil 75W-140 (1 quart) (Jaguar X-type/ Transfer case)

*Amsoil Severe Gear Oil 75W-140 gear oil (1 quart-bottle) (Jaguar X-type/differential)

To confirm what has been written about the fluid viscosity, my dealer changed the differential and transfer case fluid in my X-Type Sportwagon yesterday: in both cases the fluid used was synthetic 75w140.

Mine was just as bad. I have a 06 X-type. I change the fluid on my 05 dodge Durango that I tow a camper across the US and it looked much cleaner than this. I don’t understand why Jag as such an issue with this.
