Not that I am aware of.

I have seen this problem raised before on this or the UK Jaguar forum.
From what I recall the surrounding trim of the gear shift has to lifted and a disk in the top of the shift mechanism has to be moved.
Unfortunately there were no photos.

Ah!! now found it in my "useful info" file

"To get out of Park manually.

First remove the wood trim around the gear lever.

(Open the ashtray, use fingertips to lift the front edge, rear will follow), then look down the left hand side of the J Gate. Normally, with the ignition on, every time the brake pedal is pressed, the small black disc (About 3/4 inch dia) with two small lugs sticking out, rotates about 30 degrees.

That releases the lock, so if you have a suitable thin rod to hand, use it to turn the disc manually you can pull the gear lever back.

Have a look when it is working and you'll see the disc move and therefore what you have to replicate."

I want to know the precise action so I hope to investigate some time.

A simple unlocking " feature " is yet another omission in the Jaguar spec.
My 98 Mondeo from the same Ford stable has a small hole in the side of the central console near the transmission.
Pop small rod or similar in the hole and that's all that is required.
