There is an old quote that comes to mind... No one can outrun a radio.

lol, yes the nobody can outrun the radio and the HELICOPTER...lol

But, like I said that's why you have the "rabbit" he is the guy that "clears" the path. In other words, he drives down the road, checking for parked cops and if any are coming in the opposite direction. Once he gets about 2-3 miles out he radios in all clear or one coming my way or one parked on side.....that is when any normal person aborts the mission. But, if all clear, you're good to go. The rabbit will stay ahead of you till you complete your test, or in my case the testing of the cluster.

People who race on the streets do this all the time. Nothing new.

What was the cost of these upgrades if you don't mind racer? Which ones would you do over. What ones would you not do. Lastly what ones first? By the way could you also tell me where to drive my car to next and how to get there-perhaps how long it would take! HA HA

lol
The very first upgrade i did was the exhaust. cost me about 2K

All in all, I have about 5K in upgrades.....would i do it again.....probably....only because the car looks sexy and gets alot of attention. I could have gotten the Mustang cobra, and with the same add on cost of 5K, would have been well into the 500hp range...but no sex appeal....and everybody has a mustang....

I think every upgrade i did had a purpose...to get more HP....I didn't want my baby coming in second place, although she has on a few occassions, she still gets all the attention which pisses off the guy who beat me....I just wanted to hit the 300hp mark...

You don't need any of these upgrades if you're not into street racing, or anything like that...

Take your baby on a long trip...somewhere towards the mountains where the road twists and turns....only then can you experiance the fantastic handling of the X

Are you kidding me!!! I so would have bought a mustang cobra over the jag as long as I had a winter ride! I LOVE COBRAS! Actually I love mustangs period! Although I was a huge fan of the 03-04 supercharged cobra mainly because of the killer front valance rear trunk spoiler overall lowered appearance and that kick you know what exhaust note. That romeo built 32 valve dual exhausted engine screams for the gas pedal. Can't wait til the day I can afford the 03 or 04 cobra. Looked at the mystic it was an 04 for 34,000 brand new! This mystic go around of the cobra was way better than the 96-98 model svt released. The seats were also clothed in mystic suede paint stuff. Looked SICK!

OK so I'd still take the car!!! No joke though I'd still take the stang! Even if I weren't married and was single and no girlfriend I'd take the cobra! I'd just be really be stuck on myself and think of how cool my car is even if nobody else thought it that way!

Wow, this is mazing, 275 hp man, that muyst be one of the most powerful x types out there, im looking to make small upgrades, as im in canada and cops are sper stupid and pull you over for drving something like this ( r only in my town) but how much was the arden ecu, and how much horsepower did it add. did u think of a cold air intake system, won't be much horsepower if you get the cheap stuff, but will benefit from the expensive stuff.
