Hi
I've recently bought my first Jag, 3.0 V6 X type AWD Absolutely in love with it.
The problem is that when I get to 70mph the DSC and abs light comes on🙈 I've plugged in OBDII and it's showing no faults. When I switch off and back on it's fine doing anything until I hit motorway speed 🤷🏼*♂️ any ideas pls

Are you sure it is the 70 MPH marker that triggers the lights to come on?

I have a similar issue, but it is not the speed marker but the distance i travel, the abs light comes on after driving for a while,
I know i have a bad sensor on the right front wheel, i did replace the bearing and in the process, the sensor was ruined.
when you start the car, drive around and push on the breaks, before the light come on, feel the car, if it is a sensor or bearing issue, you should feel that wheel shaking out of order.
But then again, i do get error codes for all 4 wheels (ABS CODES)

hope this helps.

Hi mate
Yeah it seems to be a speed thing. It never comes on normally when I go work unless I use the motorway which is why I'm saying it's speed related 🤷🏼*♂️ haven't got a clue if I'm honest. My initial guess is sensor but with it not bringing up a code I'm lost lol 🙈

What might be the reason your reader isn't showing any codes is because chances are your reader can only read P codes. If it is a wheel speed sesnor(s) the codes that typically come up would a C code. Something like C1145, 55, 65 or 75 depending on the wheel location that is affected.

Is that a trip to auto shop or is it something I can find out by another way?
