I have a 2.2 Diesel Sport Premium 2005 05 plate and the DSC and ABS light comes on after 1or 2 mins . When starting from cold it sounds like something is rubbing at the front wheels and i can feel the car braking then when the light comes on it stops and drives ok . had it in to main dealer and have fault codes c1975 and c 1279 been told i need a yaw rate sensor £281 and its a dashboard out job to fit 5 hours labour another £708.

Since found out its a ten min job as i ook it out myself , so dont trust the main dealer can anyone help me get a yaw rate sensor for the best price possible . I live in Manchester UK

Try giving this guy a ring/email..http://growlerjaguarparts.com/AboutMe.html....he can source parts if he doesnt keep them and usually good value...else contact EuroJag in Darlington who break around 400 Jags a week, other than that its ebay or dealer unless you can bothered to trawl through other breakers.Might also be worth ringing your dealer 1st to get the correct part number for it from your VIN.
