Sometimes the ds light turns on on board then ABS, after that all lights turn on and clocks go down. The car functions but I think in safe mode as it doesn't accelerate as normally. I had this problem for weeks last year, then suddenly not anymore (have no idea what happened that it auto-fixed) and for months everything was OK. Since a week it started again this problem. Nobody could find the cause of this. Can you help me? Thanks, Tibor

 

What type of engine and drivetrain do you have? That would be helpful to know. Might want to consider adding that to your signature.

Without knowing more specifics, my first place inclination is you could have a bad wheel(s) speed senosr or the reluctor ring could be rusted out or damaged on one of the wheels. If so, that would be a CXXXX code. If you could have the codes read and if that was the issue one or more codes would show up pinpointing the corner of the car you have an issue.

 

It is 2 liter diesel ( ford I think)
