I have a 2004 xtype 3.0 and I have only had it 1month but I had to have a jump boost on my battery this morning and now my engine malfunction light is on I am a 63 yr old woman and have no idea what to do they had to clean my cables b4it would jump off from coroesion please help

 

Hopefully it is running and starting now. So the next step is take it to Autozone, Checker Auto or what ever local auto parts store and have them read the codes and ask them to clear the check engine light. Once you have done that drive it a little while and see if the light comes back on. If it does then go back and have it read again. Post the new codes here and we can advise you better.
A low or weak battery or badly corroded terminals will give false DTC's and trip the check engine light.
