Default Engine oil leak

I just acquired a 2002 jaguar x-type 2.5l awd automatic and it has a slight engine oil leak that seems to mainly occur under high load and acceleration. The cast oil pan has been replaced prior to my ownership. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Our X types are prone to leaks from the oil pan gasket and it can be an expensive fix due to one of the bolts to remove being difficult to get at without removing the transfer box.
Some have drilled holes through the transfer box to get at the awkward bolt but I don't know if I would dare risk doing that..I suppose it depends on how long you intend keeping the car and how bad the leak is.as to whether it's worth the cost.Might be worth making sure that is where the leak is from before doing anything as they also sometimes have a small leak from the rear bearing into the bell housing or it may be a small leak from the transfer case .
Try cleaning all the underneath to see if you can find the highest point where the leak stain re-occurs as this may help you to locate the leak rather than starting on what could be a long expensive list of eliminating jobs.
Hope it goes well.
