Default Evap quick connects

Chasing down Evap leak codes, at the canister close valve there is a tube end fitting that snaps into place with 2 internal catches. One of those little catch/tabs is broken, see pictures below. Any chance there are replacements without buying some assembly? A different quick connect is also broken. I don't have a picture but grabbed one from a Ford forum. The male end of the connector has an oval piece of plastic as a latch. You press on the ends of the oval to deform it into a circle, slide it in place, let go. The parts of the oval close together engage a circular rib so the fitting can't back out. Except in my case when that oval catch broke off so the fitting came apart causing a massive evap leak. Same question: where do I find replacement fittings without buying the $250 hose assembly?

New EVAP canister close valve vs old. Can you spot the difference?

I looked closely at a $40 Dorman generic Ford replacement canister close valve (CCV) and was convinced it was the same as our Jag CCV. When it arrived I fitted it and the electrical and hose connections are identical. Then I measured the resistance across the 2 terminals and it did not meet the resistance in the Jag workshop manual so I sent it back and bought a genuine Jag part. Same resistance as the cheap Dorman part. Now I am wondering why the manual does not agree with the actual Jag part.

Shop manual says: 25 to 30 Ohms
Old rusted out solenoid valve: 56 Ohms
Brand new genuine Jag solenoid valve: 55 Ohms
Brand new cheap generic: 58 Ohms
