Default Exhaust cleaner

Anyone have any suggestions on the best way to clean the chrome exhaust pipes? Mine appear corroded and very dirty.

They can't corrode, they are stainless.

I actually want to polish my exhaust tips as well. but I don't think Duraglit polish is sold in the US. any one know of a good polish I can buy at a local Pepboys or autozone?

Also, is there anyway to extend the tips out further? Since I have the reverse sensors most of my exhaust tips are covered by that plastic reverse sensor molding.

I use mothers chrome cleaner, its in a red bottle with a picture of a silver? car with some huge *** chrome drug dealer rims. Its a blue liquid. It will prob set you back about $8 here in Canada so prob like $4 in the US cuz you guys get everything cheaper...lol

Autoglym Glass Polish..brings Quads up like new everytime.Cant restore corrosion/pitting though once through the metal.Stainless can corrode depends on % of Chromium and Nickel.

Mine have some slight corrosion started, so I use 0000 steel wool with a few drops of liquid wax. Work it with the steel wool in a uniform direction then buff - leaves a nice satin type finish that looks much better than stained stainless
