Default Exterior mod question??

Ive been thinkin of some new ideas for the exterior. I was wondering if anybody knew a good place to get a trunk(Boot) lip spoiler. It doesnt need to be painted, Ive got a local shop for that, primed and ready would be nice...

Thanks

Although they're (most often) not oem, ebay has several. Most on there are a smaller, lower profile M3 style lip that mounts with 3M tape. I believe they come primed and ready for paint.

I'd message these guys as they are pre-painted but I'd want to check and see as they don't look like the bmw spoiler but they don't look exactly like the one on sport models...price isn't too bad though...LINK
Couldn't find one on jaguarxp???
Here's another from google search I did...LINK
Here's one from uk that ships here and can be painted for $108...LINK
Another from uk...LINK
Silver one from uk...LINK

Hey anderson you ever think of checking with the dealer? Some of their prices aren't too bad...parts I looked up were the same price as guys on here and online...

Failing that Ebays the best bet.

Good luck

I'd check multiple dealers as well. When I needed a flywheel, my local dealer wanted $900. I called a dealer about 200 miles away, and got it for $480. Shipped next day as well.

But ditto on checking with the dealers. They need to get rid of X-Type stuff so I'm sure they're willing to let it go for cheap.

Yeah I was shocked at the price they wanted! Actually I don't necessarily think its just for x-type parts as I'm pretty sure the thing they are getting you on is the labor charge for it. They charge (not 100%) around 100 bucks an hour...parts on the other hand aren't too bad...I'd imagine though body parts aren't too cheap but they aren't cheap, even salvaged stuff in any condition is still worth money on a newer vehicle! $500 bucks for a rear passenger door for my escape in every color but the one my car has!

You should get a red door if you can't get the color you want. They look great on houses and bring good luck

Spartan.....nice one on the multiple dealer scenario.
I did that when the wife had the Vauxhall Astar, needed some parts and called around about 3 localish dealers..................What a difference in the price??? Crazy stuff!

Should be the same from a dealer though...leave the competing for third party companies like autozone, murray's carquest and what not...
