I am getting my oil pan replaced as well as the front crank shaft seal. They are changing the Transmission fluid in my X, I'm getting quoted $1300, does this sound to high?

 

Sounds a bit high to me. Is that a dealer quote? I'd check some side shops.

The tranny is supposedly "sealed for life" so I doubt any side shops know how to change the fluid though. Oil pan change shouldn't be no any more than 300 at the most. I'm not sure how hard it is on the X, but I've changed a few oil pans and it didn't take longer than an hour to do.

Now that front crank shaft seal, i'm not so sure about.
