Recently purchased a 2006 X-Type Estate Wagon and brought it into my local body shop to have some repairs done. The front left fender had been previously repaired with a good deal of Bondo and, as a consequence, didn't look as if it fit right. I purchased a good used fender from Dr. Dome/Joe to replace it. The body shop called me and said that the two fenders weren't the same; something about the width of the fender flange. I checked the SNG Barrett parts book for the X-Type and there is only one left front fender listed that covers all models throughout the production run. I checked other sites which had the same information.
Anyone else ever run into this?
