Hi all,

I have a 2001 3.0l X Type and am trying to discover some information to allow me to fit the wired phone to the car - and for a lowish price (i.e. I am not going to pay for brand new parts from the dealer, instead I will try to source parts from eBay, etc).

I have a Jaguar installation kit with a cradle for the phone (which is a Motorola type handset and fits under the centre armrest) as well as most of the wiring, the antenna, the phone module mountings, etc. This is all marked as suitable for the X Type from model year 2001.5 onwards according to the Jaguar instructions I received with the fitting kit.

Now I need to find the correct phone module to mount in the boot of the car, and the handset. It seems that the module which was used in the XJ-series (and maybe others?) should also fit and work in my X Type - it looks like the module part number is 2W93 19K350 A*. Can anyone confirm this?

I'm unsure exactly what model/part number is for the phone handset - the phone is longish and tapers somewhat in the middle. It is marked "Jaguar" at the top and has a long curly lead - the part number MAY be LNG7313A*.
Any help/experience very gladly received on this topic!
