I am sooooo glad I checked in here as I have been gone for months. I sold my 2002 x-type with the same issue and had TONS of problems with the A/C system. in may case, it would fog and ice up ALL the time. Very annoying! I had the issue corrected at the dealer, then it failed again. They corrected it a second time and applied a seal of some sort to the air blend door. In my case, the repair started to have condensation issues right before I sold it. It was very on and off, so I don't know if there was any true validity to the issue, but regardless.... it was a MAJOR pain in the neck especially when I was running late in the morning (my car sits outside in Ohio) and i would be trying to get it to unfog/un freeze the interior. I think the glue fix ran around 150.....

 

The GLUE FIX worked and did NOT work....

It all depends on how stuck the rotary flaps are/were!!!!!!!!!!!
