Default Gearbox Fault

Hello all,
My name is Rob and I purchased a Black 2005 X-type, 3.0 when I was in Michigan last year. I love the car and think it is a great ride but am beginning to have some issues with it. I recently had to replace the AC compressor $1200, then I had to replace the rear torsion bushings due to an alignment issue. Another $1200 and then $900 for four tires prematurely worn.

Now the real issue! I recently heard a whine during acceleration and decided to look into changing the transmission fluid. Wow! $50 a quart from Jaguar!. What are the other options??? I found out that the $6.59/quart Import Castrol was an option and found detailed procedures on how to do it with pictures. So I drained 4 quarts of transmission fluid and replaced 4 quarts. The problem is that I am now getting a "GEARBOX FAULT" and the car will not start and will not come out of gear.

If you have any answer or suggestions please help!
