Default have you replaced a rear wheel bearing?

a new rear wheel bearing is needed.
i have done one before and recall the old one was very difficult to remove and i damaged the threaded end of the driveshaft trying to remove it..
are they always so hard to remove or do they also come off pretty easy.
from what i remember i pounded the end if the driveshaft to "shock" it off.
also..any tips for removal

Wheel bearing, driveshaft?

Modeo III same process =

If you mean the shafts to wheel bearing, a slide hammer or bearing puller would do probably.

thanks dell but neither of those show an AWD car.
im really looking for info about how to get the driveshaft/halfshaft out of the splined hole or more specifically...does it EVER come off without major force.
pullers are only good if you have the right one for the job. with a million styles and sizes..unlikely, and i know from last time.none that i have fit
