Default Headlight lenses Foggy

I have a 2003 X-type and the lenses for the Headlights are starting to get "Foggy". Has anyone had any experience with this?

Oh ya, lots of discussion of this recently. There are polishing kits available to clean headlight lens at auto parts stores. Go to one and ask for a recommendation (and then compare that to recommendations that people have posted to this list).

Or, grab a wet rag and some toothpaste and start polishing away. It really works, it just might take a little longer than with a polishing kit that you could buy.

Polishing kit works wonders. I used it on my Hyundai and they went from being so cloudy you could not see through them to being almost new again. I found the kind you use with a drill is MUCH easier than rubbing it in by hand.

I think he's talking about condensation on the inside of the lens not a polishing job. I have the same condition on mine and haven't come up with a cure other than to try to let the lamp dry it out.

Well, you could be right too now that I zoom in on it. Either way he's got an answer. Maybe he'll clarify his condition.

My 07 Jagwag lenses still clear and bright. Been using Plexus plastic sealant/cleaner since day one - preventive maintenance every time I wash the car.

It is on the outside. Have not had anything on the inside yet.
