Just to let you guys know there are 2 x types in some of my local scrapyards, a blue 2.5 with cream interior in Irvine and a green 2.5 with cream interior in Kilmarnock, both are west coast of Scotland just in case there are any other towns with the same name.

Does anyone know if a soft tyre ( slow puncture ) is likely to light up the ABS light on the dash.
It came on for the first time 2 miles after leaving home, I didn't do anything about it at the time cause the next day the fuel pump packed in, so I jacked it up and put ramps under the wheels, dropped the tank, had to wait 4 days for the replacement pump, (checked the tyre pressures and inflated ) , fitted the tank and a new fuel filter, started up and drove off the ramps and the ABS light was out!!!??? It has been out for 4 days I do less than a mile each way to work. This morning 2 miles after leaving home on the same bit of road as the last time the ABS light came back on!
Ideas anyone ??

Just a guess, wheel sensor or related wiring.
