now this cars cooling system has been a big pain...thermostat and housing 2x, waterpump 2x, tank cracked and i just patched it a couple weeks ago, hoses...
anyway. now the heater has always been touch and go but it always starts working "normally" when the small leaks are fixed, now here is a new-ish issue. the heater is only hot while in motion, if you have the car at normal opperating tamp and stop at a light it blows cold air, start driving and it warms up.

any ideas?

 

Coolant level? Not just the tank but the system was properly "burped". Just wondering since you've had pumps and hoses, and leaks.

 

Hmm. Ill check that but I guess I assumed the dealer did it when they changed the t-stat and housing for the 2nd time....any1 have other ideas?
