Yep. You have a coolant leak somewhere. The question is where is the coolant leaking from?
BTW, DO NOT and I mean DO NOT drive the car under any circumstances right now. Figure out where the leak is coming from, and get back to us here.

Seriously, unless you want to crack a head gasket, don't drive anywhere.

Some X types including mine were recalled to have an extra jubilee clip put on the bottom radiator hose...maybe this pipe came off yours?

Cracks in the expansion tank are a common cause of antifreeze leaks. Yes, you need to refill the system before you look for the leak. If you still have the original coolant, then Dexcool is compatible. Any shop should be capable of this repair.

When you try to top off the coolant make sure it doesn't just pour out on the ground. If the radiator hosehas blown off of the thermostat housing any coolant you add will simply pour on the ground. Make sure this doesn't happen before you try to drive the car. Better to have it towed than to blow the engine.

If it is the hose popped off of the t-stat it can usually be fixed simply by reinstalling with a new clamp. I would think a half hour labor including fill and bleed.

When you were pouring it in, did you look to see where the leak is coming from? If not, then do that first. There's only a few coolant lines, so it should be fairly easy to diagnose.

I went to active green to check it....And they said radiator hose is the problem...There was a big hole....
man...This hose was big and attached radiator...It attached too tight (just like breather hose) that is why there was hole..
anyways, they told me that they have to order this part from jag..and it is only comes with completed part...it is $210.
damn....it is too expensive....
do you know where I can get this part in toronto???
