Default Help Coolant leak under plenum

So I could smell some coolant burning today. After looking everywhere I found that there is some coolant on the intake manifold under the plenum. Does anyone know the common cause of this and what hose or seal it could be. Non of the hoses on the throttle body are leaking. It seems to be more on the other side. The front of the motor. I ordered the gaskets for the intake and the throttle body. I also ordered new spark plugs while I have it all apart.
The car is a 2007 Jaguar X type 3.0L Auto with only 56,685 miles.

After the vehicle has cold-soaked overnight, pressure test the cooling system to determine the source of the leak(s).

It may be from the water inlet or one of the sealing rings.

Is there only seals and o rings in that area. If that's the case I'll just replace them all and be done with it. Does anyone have an exploded drawing of that area with part numbers.

Yeah there are a LOT of those seals and o rings. Ford loves 'em! When mine developed similar leak (though we never saw any coolant) I had trouble finding a good diagram as well so hopefully someone has one. While it is off though you might as well do spark plugs and any hoses that are under there.

You can download JEPC and JTIS from this forum under the 'sticky' headings at no cost, or you can purchase the Workshop Manual from vendors on the Internet.

Default Coolant leak

I had this leak on both my 04 and 07 3.0L X-Types. I replaced the outlet water hose o-ring Part # c2s22458 and it fixed both of them. Good luck, Phil
