Default Help figuring out part needed


Took my car to get new fuel pump after install noticed car steering would loose control.. Took to Firestone and when car was lifted we seen damage (Crack in metal bar right above brake line).. Can someone tell me what part is it I need n estimate of repair n if it's worth it... Car runs great new fuel pump n radiator this is the only problem?????? PLEASE HELP

Hard to tell from the area shown in the picture. Perhaps this will help.

Looks like the Rear knuckle assembly.
PM Dr Dome I believe he has on from an X he is parting out.

I do know this can be welded as it is not "structural".

I agree with Paul. A good weld will do, but a replacement wheel knuckle would be better. It may not be 'structural' but if it didn't take any load it wouldn't be there so as a minimum a high quality weld is needed

major rear suspension component def not Weld able

was it jacked up un this when pump was replaced?.

It looks like your rear trailing arm is completely broken. I am surprised
that the car is even drivable. From the picture it looks like the ABS
wheel sensor cable might be damaged. The emergency brake cable may
be damaged as well.

I can't imagine how that could have happened except for an accident or
driving really fast over really bad roads.

It is unlikely that it could be welded since you would not be able to hold
it in the proper position so as to maintain it original dimensions. I would
try a junk yard.

got a fuel pump replaced by a shade tree mechanic im thinking they broke arm tryna lift vehicle.. learned my lesson will only take real shops now
