Help Identifying Engine Brackets
I have started the re-assembly part of the engine swap on my wife's X-Type. The new engine is mated up to the transmission and things are going back together well so far. I do have a couple of brackets in hand and I don't recall where I got them. I took a lot of pictures during the disassembly, but these two guys don't show up. Can someone identify them and tell me where they go? Thanks!

I can tell you the big one is called the Transfer Case Support Bracket. I know this because I have mine setting on the workbench right now.
It bolts with the two bolts at the bottom of your photo to the passenger side of the case right below the half shaft. The other side bolts to the oil pan with one bolt and some sort of heat shield to the other. (That shield was missing on my car).
I can't say about the smaller one.

That's a big help. I was sure one of the heat shields connected to it due to the size of the one captive nut. But I got tired of eyeballing it, spining it, re-eyeballing.
I'll get it installed tomorrow and post a picture.
Now what about the smaller one, anybody? I am guessing it came from somewhere up top around the air filter box.

All brackets accounted for. Thanks
Here is a picture of the larger bracket installed. I found the location of the smaller one. My new(er) engine already had one installed. (second pic) It sits on one of the aft cam covers bolts, and holds one of the plastic push nuts for the wiring loom, or is attached to the plenum. We'll soon see.
So, this case is closed.
Thanks again for the help.
