Default Help needed identifying connector

Yesterday while cleaning the battery posts and cables, I discovered a connector laying on the starter motor. It appears to run down and towards the right side of the engine.
The connector has 3 wires 1. black, 2. white w/blue dots 3. white w/green dots.
There is no apparent open connector near it. It has probable fallen down and is not visible.
Anyone have any idea where to start the search for the mate to this connector or what it might operate.

There are multiple unused connectors scattered round the car so it's probably just another.

I am leaning toward that conclusion also. Everything works,( not to anger the jag goddess) and i have a code clear dash.
The only problem still unresolved is the AC doesn't work but I don't think the connector has anything to do with it.

If really keen, look closely at the Electrical Guide (in JTIS) and figure out what it is. Have lots of time to spare...
