Default Help please, much needed

Okay, so I just got my HID bulbs in the other day, and so I'm driving home tonight in the dark and then all of a sudden one of my low beams is out. It's my drivers side low beam, and I know that the reason why is because the red cable that plugs into the factory bulb socket fell out, so just curious, how did you all get yours to stay in? I just slipped mine in there and it seems to have fallen out

Please help all, not sure if I should just like use electrical tape and tape the wire to the socket to make sure it doesn't like slide out or what :/ I really need help cause I'm going to a concert tomorrow, and I don't wanna be one of those people with really nice headlights, but one of the cables slipped out so i'm one short. Or worse, both of them slip :/ Please help, I really need it

Why not just put some solder on the red spade connector to build it up? Then plug it in... It may give it a tighter fit.

You need to make the electrical connection secure not just stop the wire from falling out.
If not it will eventually fail.

This will probably relate to what you're talking about, but I think I probably just grounded the wire wrong, and it's slipping. My drivers side low beam, even after fixing it yesterday, and having it working yesterday, does not work after my road trip. I got in my car to leave the concert and it was dark, and the low beam on the drivers side flicked on for a second and then flicked off. So I'm not sure if I need to re-ground the wires or what, but it's really frustrating considering I spent a bit of money on these headlights and a low beam doesn't even work right. Please help someone :/ Not sure what to do. Norri, if you think i actually need to secure it, and that's what is wrong, then how am I supposed to secure it? :/

The red cable that came with the HIDs needs to fit tightly into the factory bulb holder.

I assume this is the cable you are talking about?

Can you bend the tabs inside the factory connector to make it tighter, is the new spade on the red cable the correct size to fit the in the original socket?

Actually, I just found something weird out. And btw, I have the red cable inside of the factory socket, and I then have the black cable grounded, I pulled it out of the rubber washer, and then I grounded it to the chassis. But I found out that my driver side low beam doesn't work on auto, but it works whenever I turn the lights on manually. Why would this be happening?

Intermittent connections....that's why I stressed from the beginning to buy the proper connectors and do it the right way!!
