Default HELP!!! x-type keeps rupturing hoses.

I just did the r&r on the radiator, but that was preceeded by two hoses in the cooling system rupturing.the radiator cracking was the reason for the r&r. since the radiator r&r a week ago the upper radiator hose has popped off & two more hoses have ruptured.
after the radiator r&r I did the chemical flush & cleaned my resevoir. Why is my car bursting hoses? What should I change?

Hi Konshu your cooling system is obviously pressurizing possibly head gasket failure. Try to get your local workshop to do a sniff test to confirm.

Take the expansion tank cap off and see if you can smell combustion in the expansion tank. But I think you will find that when replacing cooling system parts, it's a good idea to do inspection and replacment of hoses as well. I always replace cooling system parts in conjunction with other cooling system repairs even if they aren't bad at the time of the repair. This reason I do that is because I don't want the car to come back the following week with the same symptoms. I've learned my lesson one too many times like that.

+1 to possible Head Gasket.

Another one to check is a stuck Thermostat.

Could it be something as simple as the pressure relief valve in the tank cap?

hoping for the cause to be the cap because the leak wasn't apparent until I put the cap on. meaning thats when it forced the coolant out.

The sniff test is done with a tool that you put a reactive liquid in, run motor up to temp carefully remove expansion cap with a cloth to avoid getting burned, then the tool gets pushed into expansion tank neck and the top of the tool is squeezed to draw off gas and steam, if combustion gas is present liquid changes from blue to green or yellow.
