Hello, I checked the Dtc errors and got the following errors. CAN and ECM errors are scary. What to check? Thank you in advance. Jaguar X-Type 3.0 4wd 2001
U1900
U2510
B1318
B1205
B1205
B2627
U2511
B1359
jan, based on the numbers that you pulled, looks like you obtained the info by pulling the numbers from the instrument cluster. Get the codes read via the OBD port under the steering wheel. A lot of what is in your list is common things that every X-type has and is probably going to toss you off of the path to figuring out what is actually wrong with your car.

I got them using the diagnostic connector under the steering wheel. It’s just that my air conditioning and stove do not work, as indicated by error u1900
Jan, I am going to break down the codes that you say that you are getting.
U1900 - CAN bus error relating to the ABS System
U2510 - PATS mismatch between the key and the ECM
B1318 - Battery voltage out of range: 9 V – 16 V as seen by the headlight leveling computer
B1205 - Trip computer switch circuit fault
B1205 - Trip computer switch circuit fault
B2627 - Fuel level sensor 2 circuit fault (open circuit fault)
U2511 - PATS ECM invalid data
B1359 - Ignition switched voltage fault
Based on these fault codes, you have quite a few issues going on. I can summarize things down to 3 problems. You have a bad ECM or someone just recently changed the ECM (if the car starts, then we can rule that out), You have a bad PATS module or the wiring between the PATS module and the instrument cluster is failed (if the car starts, then this confirms that both of these are good), and you have a bad turn signal stalk (if you can change the data in the message center, then we can rule that out).
For all of these to happen at the same time, we are either looking at a car that is suffering from being submerged in water and someone pawned the car off on you or someone has been doing a lot of work inside the dash and has caused a lot of problems.
I would say that you need to first try disconnecting the battery and clearing the fault codes. Leave the battery disconnected for about 5 minutes and then reconnect. Take the car out for a 10-15 minute drive and then get the codes read again. Lets see what you still have. Please post this new list. The B2510, B2511, and U1900 are error codes that are created when the car is built and are deleted by the manufacturer before being sent out. But, they get stored in the instrument cluster with no way to be cleared.
One last bit of information that may help get to a resolution, do you control your A/C and heat from the screen on the radio or do you control them from a module above the radio?
[/ QUOTE]
In addition to the errors I have registered, there are photos of other errors, I also attach photos of the climate control. The car is very bad, probably soon I will dispose of it.

Jan, based on getting that fault, your can bus connection to the radio (there is an in and an out connection) has an issue. It may be that the plug is just undone or you have damaged the CAN bus wiring. Odds are, you will need to remove the radio and then look at the wiring to hand over hand the wiring and see what damaged wiring you can find. Out of curiousity, have you had any work done on the interior of the car? Of so, I would start in the area that they did the work. That would be the most likely place for the wiring to be damaged.

[/ QUOTE]
I took off the radio and the wiring in it was not damaged. Radio works, climate control doesn't work!
Jan, it may not be damaged right there at the radio. it may be damaged where it goes through the firewall, on a support bracket behind the glove box, etc. Granted, it would be something as simple as your radio has failed. It is just a matter of whether you want to do some investigation to find a potentially bad wire or spend money on a used radio to put into the car to see if the radio is the issue. Having a failed radio interupts the communication between the instrument cluster and the ECM which can have downstream effects like the car not wanting to start and data transmission between the ECM and the instrument cluster. But, short of having specialized equipment to diagnose the wiring (like a TDR machine), you are going to either end up taking a guess as to what is failed and go down that path until you can't any more or you will end up having to put some money into the car to have a professional look at it.

I checked all the fuses. Everywhere. I think the problem is in this block
Jan, I am curious what makes you say that. Are you seeing damaged wires? Are you seeing connectors that have melted the plastic and are now touching? Are some of your connectors a brown color vice a silver color? This connector is a possibility as it is associated to your climate control system. But, without a smoking gun (bad wire, damaged plug, discolored connectors, etc), this would be a guess as to what is doing on.
If you are sure that this is the source of your problems, then you need to be looking at 4 pins in that connector based on your indications. 2 of the pins will have yellow wires coming out of them. These would be at pins 9 and 22. One of these pins is the communication in, the other is communication out. The other 2 pins are going to have a green wire associated with them. These will be on pins 10 and 23 of the same connector. If all of this looks good, then you most likely have a bad climate control module (its ,part number is the 1X4H number in the picture above. Of note, the last 2 letters of that part number are key. That is the version number that your car has (ie, the "CE"). if at all possible, you want to get that same version. If you can't, get something that is "CX" where X is a letter hopefully close to E.
Jan, as long as you are getting a new module that has the same number as your old module except for the last letter, then you should be good. Your current module is a version "CE". If you can find a Version CF, or CG, then you should be good. I am not sure how high they went in the version numbers.
