Newbie here- I have the same problem with my right headlight burning the bulb out. I put 3 new bulbs in and they go out as soon as I start the car. The dealer says it could be the harness. My question is if I go to an HID kit, does it use the same harness as the factory lights? Is it plugging into that? or does it have its own harness and bypasses the factory harness? I would imagine that it plugs into the factory harness in order to control them so I would need a new one regardless? PLease help..............

Hey there just saw that someone replied to this post...sorry it took so long...actually the way this kit works is that you know the 2 wires...yellow and brown I believe...you cut that harness off and strip those and than you end up wiring those directly into the 2 wires that go to the hid kit. It is really easy to do and once your in there you'll know what to do...I promise! Look at my web album on the first page of this post to see what the kit looks like when you get it in the mail. I paid just as much for the 2 or 3 sets of sylvania silverstars as I did for this one hid kit and the kit has already lasted wayyy longer than other bulbs last in there that is for sure! You need more help let any of us know...
