Default Hissing on accelerating

Folks help needed please

I have a 2005 x type 2.0d with 132k on the clock. It has now started hissing when accelerating. I have recently changed the electronic actuator and have taken it to a garage who have said all pipes are ok with no splits in.

Any help would be great fully appreciated

I know my cat hisses when he sees another cat outside, but that is a bit different.

Most of these say air leak, and that splits may not be found until a hose is removed or the clips may have rusted

This is the search link as it can be common to Diesel engines

Thanks for the info. I think it will be a process of elimination by taking each one off till I find the culprit
