Default Hood catch not holding

One of my hood catches keeps releasing on its own. The catch is well oiled and the rubber bumper is not too high. Is there something else I can adjust to fix this issue. Thank you Gary

I have similar issue in so far as one of mine will not latch unless i give the cable a yank several times. I am guessing the wire inside the cable rusts and starts to cause these sorts of problems although mine has never unlatched on its own like yours. Good luck with that - you wouldn't want the both to let go at the same time thats for sure!
