Default How to obtain dealer service information

Is there a trick/secret to obtaining dealer service records? I sent an email to our local dealer and got an introductory reply as well as a voicemail from the service manager. I suspect all I'm going to hear is a sales pitch to get me to bring the car in for a checkup. I would just like to see what, if any, services have been performed over the vehicle's life at the dealer.

silkcat, skip the service manager. Walk in and talk with the desk clerk that you pay. They should be able to bring up any record of what has been done to the car at that particular dealership. They should be able to bring up the information on all the recalls regarding your car. They are much more likely to help you than the people back in service. Just seems to be how it is.
