How Often Should I Change My Air Filter?
Additionally, I have become interested in the BG products that are used to thoroughly clean the induction and fuel systems, separately. Brutal speaks well of them. I plan on doing an air intake system cleaning using the BG system at some point before my car reaches 80K miles.[/QUOTE]
JUST A SIMPLE QUESTION...
How often should I change the air filter on my 2005 JAG CX3 (X-TYPE)? Under 55k. My ex was the previous owner.. I would just like to know how many K's per new air filter? (I could ask my mechanic, but since I just joined this site I thought I would feel it out in here.) Thanks guys...

Welcome to the forum GREEKGUY. Please introduce yourself in the new members area.
Also you're in the wrong Forum. You want to ask your question in the X-Type Forum. You may also be able to download an owners manual from there which would answer your question.

GREEKGUY,
Welcome to the Jaguar Forums! It's great to have you with us.
I have moved your post from the forum for the X350 to the forum for the X400, which is the Jaguar factory project code for your 2005 X-Type. Here you will find knowledgeable owners of similar cars.
In the meantime, please follow Sean's instruction to visit the https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...-intro-must-5/ and post a required introduction so we can learn something about you and your Jaguar and give you a proper welcome.
Cheers,
Don

Greekguy, the general rule is around 15,000 miles (25,000 KM). If you live in a really dusty climate, then every say 10,000 miles (15,000 KM) would be advisable. This assumes that you have a standard paper filter in the vehicle. There are some filters that will allow you to go longer, but they also come at a price (aka, K&N filters).
