Its not the wheel nuts thanks the hub nut that goes on the end of the drive shaft and hold the bearing , hub and drive shaft to the car.

Also is it ment to be a nut with a collapsible edge or a locking washer thing or just alot for force to stop it undoing itself.

It's 32mm. Just an FYI, unless you have a [good] air impact gun, you're going to find it's next to impossible to remove. I attempted it by hand before failing and using that as an excuse to finally get a compressor and air tools.

My apologies mate, it'd been a long day and I misread your post.

However, 32mm as stated by spielnicht - sounds right for the Hub Nut.
(dunno about the economics of his rattle-gun though)

Have a nice day.....

I dont think im going to find it hard to remove as it nearly feel off . causing me to have no breakes for a sec and the then caliper touching the disc pulling the stearing voilently away from me and destroying the disc.

I think the guy i brought the car from 1.5 months ago has put new bearing on and did NOT do the nut up tight enough.

The problem im going to have is making 200+ nm of torque to do the new one up with out air tools. And lastly thank you for the answer.

I have a $15.00 torque wrench (years old) which has the old analogue dial and pointer on it.... on the other end - it has a 1/2" socket drive via 400mm handle length. It has scale up to 200Nm so, its safe to say that any long handle socket drive (400mm +) will deliver the torque you seek.

Nope, I'm not at all sold on the rattle-gun approach.

Good luck with it anyways....
