i had a good idea!
While I was attempting to install my HID’s I had a good idea (one of many!!). You guys know the piece of plastic that covers the main part of the engine? Well on that plastic piece there are raised letters that say “Jaguar V6” I had an idea to find some way to paint or use silver leaf on the letters. It would have to be heat resistant and look smooth. Any thoughts?

That particular piece of plastic is pretty resistant to heat.
Just degrease and pressure wash it first. Then solvent on the area you are going to paint.
A regular high heat paint should be fine, however it is going to get filthy pretty quickly.
Will look sharp though. Just like the xj/xk 4.0 has the raised letters embossd in silver on the engine covers.

I wash under the hood every time I wash my car. Occasionally when I need a truck I trade with a friend... and he always shows off under my hood to whoever he sees.
If you keep your motor clean.. people will like seeing it..... lol, applies to other things too hahaha...
