Interior lights won't turn off!?

Interior lights won't turn off!?
If I activate any 1 of the 3 overhead light switches on my 07 xtype sportwagon, they won't turn off!? I've discovered that if I turn off the ignition, step out of the car, lock it, and then re-enter and start the car, I can turn them off. (But not back on again!?)
Sure would be nice not to have to do the Hokey Pokey!?
Thoughts ?
