I've been using a Garmin FM transmitter for a couple of years. Took a while but I found a frequency where I can travel most of NJ without getting static from a station. What I like best is, the monoral (remember them?) Doo Wops I've got on the Ipod play through both sides of the car. The down side, if you aren't plugged into the lighter, your Ipod battery only lasts about 4 hours. Jack
