Hoping for some advice please. Me and my ole X Type are now living in France (2.2D 2007 Estate), it's really not easy finding Jag parts here and I'm really struggling to find a simple rear caliper carrier (I have a seized slide pin in mine) without paying dealer prices or having to ship from the UK, which, since Brexit, is now slow and expensive. With the similarity of many parts between the X and the Mk3 Mondeo, I'm wondering if anyone knows if the rear carrier is the same on both, as I can get Ford parts here much easier than Jag and can find a new Mondeo carrier for about €25...... but are they the same? I know the wheel bearing/hub assy match, but I can't find any info on whether the caliper assy is the same.
Anybody here know by any chance?
