Default Just got a Quad

Its been a while since ive posted but have been looking though the posts and have noticed a lot of new members and a lot of good topics. I just made an addition to the jag after a while and figured id post. I just got Quad exhaust (No pics yet) and love it. I didnt go the Arden route as the cost is wayy too much. I got a couple Magnaflow mufflers (http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...e=main&id=8134) They look and sound great. I am getting a custom rear valance made this coming week to allow for the double outlet for each muffler. I will post pics once the valance is made and installed. I know a lot of people will be asking for sound clips of before and after, which i will not be posting (not yet anyways as they still need to be broken in for the true sound, plus you all know what the stock ones sound like). It feels like i have a little more power now as i find myself going quicker than usual on streets i use daily (without noticing instantly the speed). Just wanted to post to give others ideas of possibilites with our cars other then using the over priced Quad from Arden + the valence (total $2000+ with paint). Pictures to follow once valence added and exhaust complete. About the installation: I had them installed at a local shop that had to make some custom piping for proper fit, and then the mufflers were welded on. total time for the shop to install was approximately a little over an hour.

The BMW is the M coupe. I will try and post a few more pics this weekend after i give it a wash. Here are some while dirty.

On another note, is anyone in SoCal going to be attending Bimmerfest in Santa Barbara this Saturday? Should be a good meet. If only they did something like this for the Jags.

Wow! That looks amazing. Nicely done! When I first got my car, I wanted to put Magnaflow quad tips on it, but they wouldn't clear the valance.

Who do you go to to create a valance like that? What kind of material is it made of, and if you don't mind my asking, how much did it cost? It looks very OEM (that's a compliment ).

I got it done at a place called K&W in Sourthern California. It cost $500 including the mounting of the back-up camera and a flat-black paint. I wanted it to look OEM, so i had them actually use the stock valence, and they basically cut the whole valence up and put it back to gether again with a special type of molding glue (Glue is expensive so the reason why the cost is a little high, and took a long time to make) and molded the exhaust cut-outs and i had them make the texture of the valance smooth rather then the stock textured feel. This way, the valance installs using the same clips and screws as the stock. if i want to change back to the stock, wud be an easy change. Just need to buy a stock valence.
