...MSN-Auto includes our X-Type in its list of "Biggest auto turkeys of recent times". We're in pretty good company though. Among the fifteen or so listed are models from Hummer, Chrysler, Mercedes, Cadillac, and even Ferrari. I'm guessing they Googled "car-turkeys" and came up with the usual "self-proclaimed-auto-expert" suspects.

They're just trying to make fun of us. What they said about the Mercedes and the Taurus was way off too. Now, the Aztek and the SSR pickup I can agree on.

"Production lasted only 8 years??" Is it strange for me to ask what's wrong with that? How did the Land Rover Freelander not make this list, it should be #1 on every list of automotive failures ever. Slotted somewhere a few notches below a Yugo.

Common folks..Jags were always the prettiest, best looking cars on the road..even when they wouldn't run well. Remember that LUCAS was internal. Given a vote. The Jags always won in the looks department. Maybe slightly understated by U S standards, but isn't that one reason for us to drive Jags??????? Happy turkey day!

Exactly! If that were the measuring stick there wouldn't be enough band-width to list 'em all!
