I was looking through the classifieds today and it got me thinking, "what would be the next vehicle I would get after my X-Type"...Personally I think um going to be getting a SUV or a quad cab pickup truck...big change from sporty luxury to heavy hauler. What do you guys see your'e selves in after the X-Type?

 

Tough decision, there are so many good cars and trucks out there to pick from.

I've had my eye on an Audi A3 TDI next, but still not sure if it has enough power for my taste.

Since I have a couple of trucks and another car, I might go after a low mile S type R if I can find one.

 

i have wanted a jaguar since i was a small boy.in the past every time i went out to buy a car my sensible head took over and i never came away with that jaguar i had allways wanted.things are different now and i am the proud owner of a 3.0 se x type.the problem is i have been spoilt now,so the answer to your question is i could not see myself buying anything other than a jag next time around.

 

yea thats a hard one, i've really hated alot of car that have come and gone in my family. I hated the old cadilacs, but the new cts v series, OMG i could see myself in that. Other then that out of all the chioces i think i would get myself a jaguar xjr or super v8. The new rams are a beauty tooo.

 

Mine will be the Lincoln MKZ AWD..

 

I'd love an XF, but would probably opt for a new Taurus SHO. AWD and 365 HP to boot!

 

Well, I am looking at this very thing here soon. I am leaning 2 ways at the moment. I am goign to end up keeping the X-Type as the wife loves the car and has told me that she would rather drive the 03 Jag than her 06 Cobalt. Imagine that. So, I will be getting rid of her car and then either picking up a 2010 Ford F-150 (possibly F-350) or going with a Dodge Challenger SRT-8. Granted, if I keep things as is, then I will probably be building my next car, either a 1923 T-bucket or a 1970 Dodge Charger with a supercharged Viper motor under the hood (just a little power there). We'll see. The first thing though is getting a new house. Gotta have a spot for the toys.

 

According to the lovely Momma Bear, my next ride, after the X, will be a hearse. But that's just this year. She'll mellow after another few years...

 

I think I would go for a nice clean low mileage S TypeR, XJ, or even XF.. If I was going to go back to domestic I would opt for the new SHO, CTS-v or Lincoln MKS..

There are so many options out there..
