Hi, have x type 2005 2.5 awd. Key fob didn't work when bought. Got new battery, then new circuit board. Did key position 1 to 2 4 times. Get chime from car. Then no chime when pressing key button. So doesn't work. Does anyone know else I can try? Location of receiver etc, to check connections or anything.? Or any fuses with location that may affect this. Or anything else? Thanks.
Hi , was looking at possible answers. Bought the new circuit board in uk. But saw the post where you hold both lock and unlock buttons down then press boot unlock 3 times. Then did the key in position 1 to 2, 4 times. And it works!! So thanks to whoever put that post on. Great help.
