Anyone know where I can get a new remote for a 2003 X-Type. Replaced the battery and it still will not work.

Hi Jim. Sorry for the slow response. It may not be the remote control that is faulty. Check that the blade inside the ignition slot is closed. If it is stuck in the open position the system will not respond to any remote on earth as it "thinks" there is a key in the ignition.

 

Have you read the TSBs for this fault?
